Year 12 and 13 3D Design Pupils Meet Black+Blum's Product Designer

This week, Year 12 and 13 3D Design pupils had the privilege of meeting Dan Black, head designer and director of the innovative product design brand Black+Blum. Dan generously shared his journey into the world of product design, offering a fascinating insight into how his passion and creativity evolved into the successful brand we know today. As part of the visit Dan explained the thought processes behind some of Black+Blum's most iconic products, from material selection to aesthetic decisions. He highlighted how these elements contribute to creating functional yet beautifully designed items that stand out in the market. This inspiring session not only brought the world of professional design to life but also encouraged pupils to think critically and creatively about their own projects. A huge thank you to Dan Black for making time to inspire the next generation of designers!
